About Us: The Crow Hill Company is a music tech start up gearing up for launch, and we’re looking for a confident mid-level graphic designer to join our team and support across the businesses marketing efforts. We’re a small team with decades of shared industry experience and passion for our craft, we’ve all left major corporations to start something special that represents the best parts of the industry, including our approach to product, design marketing and sample making. We’re crazy about sample libraries (it’s okay if you have to google what this is) and we’re on a mission to make music-making free, fun and for everyone.
About the role: You will be working directly under the Head of Marketing, to design anything from Email’s and webpages to social media assets and graphic user interfaces. This role is suitable for a designer that is comfortable with variation and can consistently develop concepts and execute good design work that satisfies a brief.
This is for you if: You LOVE what you do and it shows, you have an eye for detail and you present visuals that push a brief to it’s limits, sharing concepts that make stakeholders say “I never would have thought of that!” You’re eager to learn, and are excited by the opportunity to up skill within an organisation. You take on constructive feedback and action it with a positive attitude.
What you’ll do:
Create designs, logos, product artwork, layouts and mockups to briefs
Create key marketing assets (web pages, email, social media assets)
Create illustrations for user product manuals
Action feedback
Keep project assets and deliverables organised
Create initial design concepts

Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
Experience designing marketing assets (web pages, email, social media assets)
Portfolio that demonstrates the range and quality of your projects
Experience with brand identity
Strong conceptual thinking
You are able to quickly and creatively produce compelling solutions to design problems
Nice to have:
Experience in Blender/willing to learn
Edinburgh based/willing to relocate
Experience in music/software/tech industry
Basic knowledge of motion design, AfterEffects or UI/UX is a HUGE plus
Experience working in a start up/agency environment

£35k per annum with options for freelance contracts if preferred
